LEWANDOSKI: Rose Lewandoski of Sandy Lake passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at the Minnedosa Health Centre at the age of 93 years. Rose is survived by her children: Robert (Linda) of Sandy Lake, Raymond (Lucille) of Sandy Lake, Richard (Bonnie) of Sandy Lake, Dennis (Laverne) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Gloria Campbell of Dauphin; son-in-law, Avery (Red) Liebing of Sandy Lake; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters: Jean (Berney) Roth of Hays, Kansas, and Marika (Jim) McDonald of Calgary, Alberta brother-in-law, Pete Soltys of Sandy Lake and sister-in-laws Shirley Millenchuk of Sandy Lake and Mary Millenchuk of Sandy Lake. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sandy Lake, with interment following in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said from the church Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Father Emil Kardasinec will officiate.
